Questions

The things people actually ask.

Straight answers about the membership, your system, and what the warranty really covers.

The basics

What is the membership, exactly?

We don't do service calls. We do memberships. When we install your new system, your home joins a Circle of neighbors we have committed to looking after. Your membership covers twice-yearly inspections, a 10-year parts and labor warranty, and every visit in between. No service fees. No trip charges.

Why call it a membership instead of a service plan?

A service plan is something a company sells you. A membership is something you join. The difference is the cap. Each Circle is limited to 396 homes, so we cannot grow past the point where we still know who you are. That limit is the whole point.

What if I live outside Leander and Cedar Park?

Membership is limited to homes inside the Leander and Cedar Park city limits. That is not us being small, it is us staying close. Commercial and custom build work is different, and we take that across Williamson and Travis Counties, so call us if that is what you need. For a home replacement outside the two cities, get on the waitlist anyway. It is how we decide where to open next.

What if the Circle near me is already full?

Each Circle caps at 396 homes. If yours fills up, join the waitlist and we will let you know the moment something changes. It also tells us where the demand is.

My system just died and I am not a member. Can you still help?

Yes, and that is the most common way people join. Replacing your system with us is exactly what qualifies your home for membership, so a failure is not a setback, it is the starting point. Call us and we will come look at it.

Your system

Do I have to replace my system to join?

Yes. A new install from us is what qualifies your home for membership, because the warranty is tied to equipment we put in ourselves. We cannot stand behind ten years of parts and labor on a system somebody else installed.

Can you just replace the outdoor unit?

Not anymore, and that one is not our rule. The industry moved from R-410A refrigerant to R-454B, and manufacturers no longer build equipment that works across the two. Federal efficiency standards also raised the required SEER ratings. Pairing a new outdoor unit with an older indoor one is not something we are able to do, and it is not something that would work well if we were.

Will the new equipment fit where my old system is?

Usually, but not always. The higher-efficiency cabinets run bigger than what they replace, and in some homes that means modifying an access panel or opening up a closet or stairwell. Give us a call and we will come measure before anything gets ordered.

Does my home need an evaluation first?

Yes. Every home gets a system evaluation before we quote anything. It is how we size the equipment correctly and catch anything that would change the price, so there is nothing unexpected on install day.

What if my system still works fine?

Then keep it. We are not going to tell you to replace equipment that has years left in it, and the evaluation will say so plainly. Membership begins with a replacement, so if yours is not due yet the honest answer is to wait. Call us when that changes and we will pick it up then.

I just moved in and have no idea how old my system is.

That is normal, and it is one of the things the evaluation settles. We can tell you roughly how old the equipment is, what condition it is in, and how much life is realistically left. Knowing where you stand costs you nothing and does not commit you to anything.

Warranty and cost

How is a 10-year warranty even possible?

We work hand in hand with a third-party warranty company that backs the coverage. That is what lets us promise ten years of parts and labor instead of the shorter terms that are normal in this industry.

Is there really no service fee, ever?

No service fees. No trip charges. If you are a member and something covered goes wrong, we come out and we take care of it. You do not get a bill for us showing up.

What does the system replacement itself cost?

That is a separate number from the monthly membership fee, and it depends on the size of system your home needs. Pricing is posted on the pricing page. Put simply: the membership fee covers the warranty, the inspections and the service, while the replacement covers the equipment and the installation, quoted after we have actually looked at your home.

Could my price come in higher than what is posted?

It can, and you will hear it from us before any work starts. Posted pricing is based on normal installation practices. If your home needs something outside of that, like modified ductwork or structural work to fit the new cabinet, that is an additional cost. Call us and we will come take a look and give you the real number first.

What is not covered by the warranty?

Broadly, we cover the system failing and not the world happening to it. Excluded: abuse, misuse, neglect and vandalism; fire, flood, lightning, storms and power surges; damage from an improper electrical supply; cosmetic damage; refrigerant unless the manufacturer covers it; ductwork and air quality products unless specifically included; drain line stoppages from conditions outside normal operation; equipment moved from where it was installed; damage from pests or third-party contractors; normal wear items the manufacturer excludes; conditions that existed before installation; and code upgrades or permit fees unless specifically covered. The full list is on our warranty page, before you ask for it.

What if something breaks outside business hours?

Send the request in whenever it happens. If we have someone available we come out, and if we do not, it is handled the next business day. Either way there is no after-hours charge and no separate bill. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and falling outside them changes when we get to you, never what it costs.

Do you offer financing on the system replacement?

Yes, for qualified customers, arranged through our scheduling and billing system. Not everybody qualifies, so ask early rather than assuming it. One thing worth knowing before you plan around it: we cannot start work on a financed job until the financing is finally approved, not merely prequalified or conditionally approved. If it falls through before we start, the balance has to be covered another way.

Membership

What is the difference between the two membership tiers?

Both tiers include your twice-yearly inspections, priority scheduling, and the full 10-year parts and labor warranty. The Premier tier adds filter service, which means we deliver your filters and install them, so it is not one more thing on your list.

How does the referral program work?

Tell a neighbor about us. When they become a member, you get one month of membership free, and there is no limit on how many months you can earn. You can send the referral through this site or simply call it in. Credit is earned when they actually join, not when they first call, and it is applied to your next billing cycle.

Who actually shows up at my house?

Lee. He runs the evaluations, the installations and the service visits himself, which is the whole reason each Circle stops at 396 homes. Brittani handles scheduling and membership, so if you get a call back about an appointment it is usually her. There is no call center and no rotating roster of technicians who have never seen your system before.

How do I check that you are properly licensed?

Look us up. Our Texas air conditioning and refrigeration contractor license is TACLA024632E, and you can verify it yourself through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation at tdlr.texas.gov. Any contractor working on your system should be willing to hand you that number without being asked.

Will my monthly rate go up?

Not during your ten years. The rate you join at is the rate you hold for the full term. What is posted now is a founding rate, so members who join later may start at a higher number. Once your ten years are up the rate moves to whatever the market looks like then, and nobody can honestly predict that today.

Can I cancel my membership, and what happens to the warranty?

You can cancel, and it is worth understanding the trade before you do. The labor portion of the warranty depends on the membership staying active and in good standing, so if the membership lapses the labor coverage can end with it. The manufacturer's parts warranty is separate and survives on its own terms. Since labor is the part almost nobody else covers, and usually the larger bill, cancelling costs you the most valuable half of the coverage.

What happens to my membership and warranty if I sell my house?

Coverage does not transfer automatically with the house, but it can often be arranged. A transfer needs our written approval, an active membership for the new owner, and a transfer fee. The fee is set at the time of transfer, based on the years left on your ten and what the coverage is worth then. Call us before you close rather than after, and we will tell you straight what is and is not possible for your buyer.

How often do filters arrive on the Premier tier?

It depends on which filter you choose. Rather than putting every home on the same calendar, we match the delivery schedule to your filter, and we go over that schedule with you when you choose it at the time of purchase, so you know the cadence before you are paying for it. Premier covers both the delivery and the installation either way.

Still have a question?

Ask it. No pressure, no commitment, and no sales pitch waiting on the other end.
