Terms of Service

The rules of the road.

What this site is, what it isn't, and what applies when you use it.

Last updated July 30, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply to leanderhcs.com, operated by Leander Heating & Cooling, a licensed Texas HVAC contractor (license TACLA024632E). By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

What “membership” means here

We call this a membership because it describes how it works: a group of neighbors inside a defined service area, one shared standard of service, and a cap on how many homes we take.

Your membership is an agreement for services and warranty coverage. What you are owed is set out in your membership agreement and warranty document, and nothing on this site extends beyond those.

What this site is

This site explains our membership, our pricing, our service area, and our work. It is informational. Nothing here is a binding quote, a contract, or a guarantee that we can serve your particular home.

What this site is not

Submitting a form does not make you a member and does not schedule work. Membership begins only after a system evaluation, a written agreement, and a completed installation. Anything you read here is subject to the actual agreement you sign.

Posted pricing

We publish our pricing because we think every company should. That pricing is based on normal installation practices. If your home needs work outside of that, for example modified ductwork, electrical changes, or structural work to fit a larger equipment cabinet, that is an additional cost. We will come look, tell you the real number, and get your approval before any of it happens.

Posted pricing is based on Comfortmaker standard efficiency equipment. Higher efficiency equipment is available on request and is priced differently.

Equipment costs move, sometimes without much warning. Posted prices can change, and the price that applies to you is the one in your written proposal.

Warranty

Descriptions of our 10-year parts and labor coverage on this site are summaries written in plain language. The warranty document you receive at installation sets out what is covered, what is excluded, and how claims work. These terms and conditions govern the agreement as a whole, and if the two ever disagree, these terms and conditions control. Coverage applies to equipment we installed and depends on the membership remaining in good standing.

Service area and availability

Membership is limited to homes inside the Leander and Cedar Park, Texas city limits, and each Circle is capped at 396 homes. Commercial and custom build work is separate from membership and is available more widely, across Williamson and Travis Counties. Listing a community on this site is not a promise that space is currently available in it.

Referrals

Referral credit is earned when the person you referred actually becomes a member, not when they contact us. Credit is one month of membership fees, applied to your next billing cycle after they join. There is no limit on how many credits you can earn. You must be a member yourself to earn a credit, and the person you referred receives nothing under this program. We reserve the right to decline credit for referrals that are duplicated, self-referred, or submitted after the fact.

What you send us

Please give us accurate information. We size equipment and quote work based on what you tell us, so bad information leads to a bad estimate. Do not send us anything unlawful, and do not submit someone else's personal information without their permission.

Our content

The text, photographs, logo, and design on this site belong to Leander Heating & Cooling or are used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse them commercially without asking first. Ask, and the answer is often yes.

Other companies' services

Parts of this site rely on services run by other companies, including our scheduling and form software, our website host, and our analytics provider. Their terms apply to their services. We are not responsible for how third-party sites we link to operate.

No guarantees about the site itself

We work to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as is. We do not promise it will always be online, error free, or complete. Specifications, pricing, and availability change.

Limits on liability

To the extent Texas law allows, Leander Heating & Cooling is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. This does not limit our obligations under any installation agreement, membership agreement, or warranty you hold with us, and it does not limit anything that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If you are a customer, any dispute about your installation, your membership or your warranty is governed by the agreements you signed, and those documents set out how and where it is resolved. Read them rather than relying on this page.

Licensing and complaints

Leander Heating & Cooling holds Texas air conditioning and refrigeration contractor license TACLA024632E, regulated by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, P.O. Box 12157, Austin, Texas 78711. Complaints about our licensed work may be directed to TDLR at 1-800-803-9202 or tdlr.texas.gov. We would much rather you called us first at (512) 316-2790 and gave us the chance to make it right.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site means you accept the updated version.
